Welcome to the official website of 50 Lexington Avenue, a luxury full-service co-op building in the heart of Gramercy Park / Murray Hill, Manhattan, New York City. We are located on the corner of 24th Street and Lexington Avenue, close to many of New York's finest entertainment, dining, and attractions. Some of New York's highest rated restaurants are nearby, as well as famous landmarks (the 'old' Met Life, NY Life, and Flatiron buildings; Madison Square Park, and Union Square; to name a few), stores, and higher education institutions (Baruch College, School of Visual Arts).

Our building is a full-service luxury coop with a 24/7 doorman, a superintendent who lives in the building, a gym, a swimming pool, sauna, roof deck with spectacular views of Manhattan, a laundry room, and state-of-the-art security system. 50 Lexington Avenue is truly a great place to live in, right in the middle of it all, in one of the best neighborhoods of New York City.

This website is intended to provide information on the building for those who already live here and for those who might be interested in moving to the building in the future. We hope you find the information provided here useful.

If you are interested in finding out whether any apartments are for sale or rent please search the local newspapers (for example, the New York Times Real Estate Section is one good source) or consult local real estate brokers. We do not keep a list of available apartments since individual owners are in charge of selling or subletting their properties. 50 Lex Tenants Corporation and its management agent review all purchase and/or subletting applications to verify that they are in order and comply with all the requirements of the co-op.

There are 27 floors with over 180 apartments in the building, ranging in size from studio apartments with 1 full bathroom to 2-bedroom apartments with 2½ bathrooms. Most Apartments also have balconies (and a select few have 2 balconies, while a few other apartments have wood burning fireplaces). The building is frequently referred to as a Condop, meaning it is a coop with condo rules. There are few rules and restrictions on purchasing or subletting apartments, making 50 Lexington a very desirable building.

Some of the content and features of the site are only for current occupants of the building and require registration. You can register through the Discussion Board link above. If you have any questions regarding the site please contact the website administrator.
